New Academic Center

Goal: $35 Million

This new facility will bring together outstanding programs that make up our academic core. It’s this core that equips our students as communicators, decision-makers, and team players, and causes them to stand out among their peers as they begin their careers. This building will house the Department of History and Government; the Department of English, Literature, and Modern Languages; the Department of Communication; and the School of Education.

This new space will encourage community and collaboration between faculty and students working in complementary fields. It will also create more spaces for faculty mentoring and investment in students.

Sitting at the edge of campus facing Ohio State Route 72, this academic building will greet and inspire visitors with its classical design, matching facilities with the quality of the programs inside. This spectacular structure will tie our campus together architecturally as well, serving as a bridge from the traditional look of Founders Hall to the modern style of the Center for Biblical and Theological Studies.

Will you join us in welcoming future Cedarville students and strengthening our academic core?

Floor Plans and Renderings

Critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication have application in every field and equip students for effective citizenship as well as service in the church. I am very excited that we will soon be able to house the faculty and programs we have in those critical areas in a building that manifests their quality. This building will be a tangible manifestation of the continuing importance of the academic core at Cedarville University.
Dr. Tom Mach, VP for Academics

As an education student, I have been prepared well and cared for deeply by the faculty and staff in the School of Education at Cedarville. With the addition of the Liberal Arts and Welcome Center, my experience of growing professionally, academically and spiritually can be one that many are able to take part in. A place designed for equipping future educators will allow for the Gospel to be made known to the next generation.
