Your investment in student experiences provides opportunities for transformation beyond the classroom setting. Memories are made and friendships built in the residence halls and through vibrant student experiences like intramural sports, student organizations, and discipleship groups. Our daily chapel — “the heartbeat of campus” — encourages students to seek God through dynamic worship and powerful preaching. And local and global ministry opportunities allow students to put into practice what they are learning in class, sharing the hope of the Gospel with a world in need.
Giving Opportunities
Academics – $4M
Invest in one of our outstanding academic programs and be a part of preparing the next generation of Christian nurses, engineers, teachers, and more. Choose a new or developing program, like Civil Engineering, AthleticTraining, or PA Studies. Or maybe one of our leading-edge programs like Industrial and Innovative Design or Cyber Operations, which was named a Center of Academic Excellence by the NSA, the only Christian university to achieve that designation. Few Christian universities can match the breadth and quality of Cedarville’s program mix. Every undergraduate degree includes a Bible minor and a liberal arts core, along with the required major courses for the more than 150 sought-after programs offered.
Global Outreach – $3M
We desire for every student to minister locally through a student organization and globally through a cross-cultural missions trip. These trips help our students develop a heart for the nations as they see the needs of a lost world firsthand and work alongside missionaries to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many vocational missionaries started their ministry with a short-term trip. The importance of these trips cannot be overstated as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission in our lifetime. After participating in missions trips, students pray more fervently, give more generously, and go more frequently. Your gifts can help change the way they view missions forever.
Student Life and Chapel – $2M
The foundation of our student life philosophy is discipleship. We offer more than 120 student-led discipleship groups, 100 student organizations, and 25 intramural sports. Residence life staff come alongside students in daily discipleship, encouraging them to grow in their faith and make Christ central to everything they do. Every Cedarville student has at least one experience in common: weekday chapel at 10 a.m. It is the heartbeat of Cedarville’s campus. Your support of this key priority will help us produce spiritually mature students who will flourish for God’s glory.
Athletic Programs – $1M
Yellow Jackets play hard and go for the win, competing in 16 collegiate-level sports. In the past 13 years, 19 Cedarville teams have won national championships in the National Christian College Athletic Association, and 11 teams have competed in NCAA postseason competition. While celebrating championships and pursuing outstanding play, Cedarville teams serve each other and their competitors, honoring Christ as their ultimate goal.
